Over the years, various owners renovated and expanded the property to meet growing demand.
In 1980, it underwent significant renovations, transforming into Fitzgerald’s Casino & Hotel. It remained under this name until September 2007, when it was sold and renamed Fitzgeralds Las Vegas. A new renovation began in late 2012, culminating with its rebirth as The D Las Vegas on June 4th, 2013.
